The tasting room officially opened to the public October 1, 2016. As a new winery in the Paso Robles AVA, we are eager to introduce guests to the P. S. Cellars line of wine and share a fun tasting experience. The wines range from crisp to intense with the front label offering a hint of what is in the bottle.
Guests can elect to taste five wines on their own for a $10 tasting fee (fully refunded with wine purchase) or they can upgrade a set tasting including paired bites for an additional $5. The gourmet pairings often include items from the “pretty eats” line of wine-inspired foods available for purchase in the tasting room.
With a hospitality focus, P. S. Cellars has an event room and guest accommodations. The Pretty Café is available for private events for groups up to 50 people with both indoor and outdoor seating. The Winery Loft is a 790 sq ft apartment located above the tasting room. The loft overlooks the winery production area and is available for rent with a two night minimum stay. Guests can take advantage of the full kitchen or book the owner and cookbook author for a chef for hire meal.
P.S. There is wine in the cellar!
Varietals: Arneis, Grenache Rosé, Barbera, a Rhône blend, Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Bordeaux Blend
P. S. is short for Pretty Selects since owner/winemaker Lisa Pretty selects Paso Robles fruit to make stand alone varietals and blends.
The winery’s standard poodle has a Native American name, Takoda, meaning friend to all. He lives up to his name, so anticipate a warm welcome.
The entrance to the tasting room has a staged area for photos with statues of the oldest Cabernet Franc vines in the Paso Robles AVA that were planted in the estate vineyard back in 1981.
