When Seven Sisters Gallery owner, Patty Eitzen moved to Morro Bay in 2005, after owning the Folk Art Traders Gallery on the Island of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands for many years, she brought very special treasures of beauty to this part of the world. .
Treasures like the rare stone Larimar, which Patty first discovered at its only location in the world, a few inactive volcanic caves on the Caribbean Island of La Hispaniola. She developed a beautiful line of Larimar jewelry, a most exquisite find.
Searching for a great location for her new gallery, Patty decided on Morro Bay, the picturesque fishing and water sports town along the Pacific Ocean. She named the gallery after the Seven Morros, known as the Seven Sisters. These ancient peaks are a unique set of mountain landmark between the city of Morro Bay and the City of San Luis Obispo.
Around the same time, she invited her high school friend, Janet Serba Fisher from Michigan, if she would be interested in moving to the Central Coast to assist in making the Gallery a success. Janet had owned the Kimberly Floral and Interior Design in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, with former husband, Interior Designer Kevin Serba. Janet accepted the challenge and her creative display talents have turned the gallery and the website into a visual fantasy cove of affordable treasures.
Call it a strike of luck when Patty met and asked Shawn Bostrom three years ago to join the team. As the ever-energetic store manager, running the day to day operations, tending to the many details that go along with making the Gallery a customer friendly experience.
Most important to the ever increasing quality and value of our unique offerings is Patty’s tireless search for the most unusual and unique items for the Seven Sisters Gallery. From places of hidden treasures all over the United States to her travels around the world, Patty finds those unique treasures to please our customers who are looking for affordable beauty.
